Parking
Student parking is across the street at Memorial Park, along the square, on N De Leon St., E. Power Ave., or E. Commercial St.
Lunch
Please pack a lunch or have it delivered. Make sure deliveries are
- sent to 306 E. Commercial St. Suite # 211
- and under the name of the student.
Snacks are available for purchase.
Dress Code
In lieu of uniforms, please just keep it neat and modest. See our Student Parent Handbook for the full code. Students will need clothes brought or be sent home for violations.
Medication
Parents must bring the medication (in the original bottle) and medication form to the office for students requiring medication while on campus. Please see our Student Parent Handbook for more details.
Parent Student Handbook
The Handbook is a living, breathing document that attempts to cover situations that parents, students, and educators encounter on a daily basis. At its core, it is a set of rules, regulations, and requirements that support the learning environment, while serving as a guide for each of us as we make decisions regarding a variety of school matters.
Health Guidelines
COVID
Feeling sick? We kindly ask you to please stay home.
According to the CDC, people with COVID-19 have had a wide range of symptoms reported – ranging from mild symptoms to severe illness. Symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure to the virus. Anyone can have mild to severe symptoms. This list does not include all possible symptoms, but people with these symptoms may have COVID-19.
We ask everyone to please self-monitor, watch for symptoms and stay home if you experience the following:
- Fever or chills
- Cough
- Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
- Fatigue
- Muscle or body aches
- Headache
- New loss of taste or smell
- Sore throat
- Congestion or runny nose
- Nausea or vomiting
- Diarrhea
Non-COVID
As usual, don't come to campus unless you've been symptom-free of the following for 24 hours:
- Oral temperature of 100+ degrees
- Vomiting, nausea or severe abdominal pain
- Red, inflamed, or discharging eyes
- Acute skin rash or eruption
- Suspected scabies or impetigo
- Head Lice (See Student Parent Handbook for more.)
Mental Health
Virtual students, isolated from social interaction, can sometimes struggle to stay mentally healthy. This is not unusual, and you are not alone. We want to help you get through this very challenging time. Help is just a phone call away. If you or anyone you know is struggling with isolation, sadness, or anxiety and need help, there are resources available. Please reach out to one of the following organizations by clicking their logo:
Extracurricular Activities
Extracurricular activities don't earn academic credits but are valuable for developing a student's passions and talents. They can also accentuate a college application and even a resume. The following extracurricular programs are available locally for CCS students. Please contact them directly for more information.
