Why is it important to teach kids how to set goals?
Goal setting helps students with self-belief and self-confidence by increasing awareness of one’s strengths and of one’s weaknesses. It facilitates effective visualization and clarifies the path ahead, while encouraging prioritization, and defining reality by separating it from wishful thinking.
Proper goal setting techniques can improve overall decision making and help students stay motivated to succeed.
